Usui Reiki Practitioner Certifications
Reiki (pronounced “ray-key”) means Universal Life Energy.
Reiki is a non-invasive healing modality that originated in Japan. It is practiced all over the world and has no religious affiliation or connotation.
Reiki enhances the body’s natural ability to heal itself, promotes relaxation, and helps restore balance to all parts of the body: emotional, spiritual, mental, and physical.
And yes, ANYONE can learn how to be a Reiki practitioner!
I encourage nearly everyone to at least get certified as a Level I practitioner.
Once you are attuned to Reiki in your Level I class, you will have the ability to do self-Reiki, and to provide Reiki healing to your family, friends, pets, and plants.
But getting attuned to Reiki is also a huge catalyst for your own personal growth, and for the further development of your intuition. It also helps strengthen your relationship with Source (God/Universe/etc.) and it helps you to trust yourself on an even deeper level.
I teach and certify practitioners in traditional Usui Reiki: Levels I, II, and Master Teacher.
I do not teach Holy Fire Reiki. I try to schedule at least 1 class per month.
I am also open to scheduling private classes for those that can’t make it to the classes currently on the calendar. I can also travel to teach small groups that would like to take a class together at a location of their choosing.
My Reiki classes are held in-person only, as I don’t believe in distance attunements for traditional Usui Reiki practitioners. I discuss my reasons in this blog post.
My classes are limited to a maximum of 2 students per class at my office in Warwick, RI.
A smaller class size helps me to provide individual guidance on a more personal level. Also, students are more inclined to ask questions when the class is one on one or there is only one other student. I want students to be relaxed, open, and comfortable during their classes.
What’s the energetic exchange for Reiki training?
Reiki I certification is $225.
Reiki II certification is $250.
Reiki Master Teacher certification is $500.
Can I become a Reiki Master Teacher in a weekend?
No.
I require a minimum practice period in between levels before my students move on to the next level of Reiki training.
It is important that you have time to integrate the information that you learn, practice it, and feel comfortable with your practice before you move on to the next level.
The practice period between Levels I and II is at least 3 months, and the practice period between Levels II and Master Teacher is at least 6 months.
You are not required to move on to the next level of training until you feel called to do so (once the minimum practice period has elapsed). Everyone’s journey with Reiki is different, so honor yourself and what you feel called to do. And I would be honored to support you as your teacher on your journey!
Can I become a Reiki practitioner even if I don’t want to have a Reiki business?
Absolutely!
Since Reiki is such a fabulous healing tool and such a great catalyst for personal growth and intuition development, I encourage everyone to at least be certified as a Level I practitioner.
Do I need to change or give up my current spiritual practices if I become a Reiki practitioner?
Absolutely not!
Since Reiki is a healing art that works with love and light, it is a perfect companion to any spiritual or religious practices that you currently have. And if you don’t currently have any, that is okay too!
Please Be Aware
Reiki is not a replacement for any traditional medical treatments, nor is it intended to diagnose or treat any medical conditions. But it’s a great complement to any other medical treatment you are pursuing, so it can be incorporated into any wellness program.
